Welcome! I am a PhD Candidate in the Strategy Unit at Harvard Business School and an affiliate of the Harvard Business School AI Institute.
Technologies like AI, automation, and electrification demand not just adoption but new ways of organizing work — I study when investments in people and technology lead to successful organizational transformation, and why these efforts often fall short. My dissertation, “Sustaining Competitive Advantage by Building and Redeploying Workforce Capabilities under Technological Change,” was selected as a finalist for the 2026 Organization Science/INFORMS Dissertation Proposal Competition.
Before beginning my PhD, I earned a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology, both summa cum laude, from the University of Mannheim. During my studies, I worked as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Mannheim and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. I then joined the Daimler Group, where I first worked in in-house consulting focused on organizational development and later in the Strategy and Governance of Digitization department.
My dissertation committee consists of Juan Alcácer, Ryan Raffaelli, Raffaella Sadun (chair), and Jorge Tamayo.
I am on the 2026–27 academic job market.
