Welcome! I am a PhD Candidate in the Strategy Unit at Harvard Business School and an affiliate of the Harvard Business School AI Institute.
My research examines how incumbent firms build the organizational capabilities needed to adapt to technological change. As technologies such as AI, automation, and electrification reshape the capabilities firms require to remain competitive, organizations face the challenge of transforming — not only by adopting new technologies, but by changing how work is organized. I study the organizational processes through which firms translate investments in people and technology into organizational transformation, examining how workforce capabilities, organizational structures, and managerial systems shape successful adaptation.
Before beginning my PhD, I earned a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology, both summa cum laude, from the University of Mannheim. During my studies, I worked as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Mannheim and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. I then joined the Daimler Group, where I first worked in in-house consulting focused on organizational development and later in the Strategy and Governance of Digitization department.
My dissertation committee consists of Juan Alcácer, Ryan Raffaelli, Raffaella Sadun (chair), and Jorge Tamayo.
